November 8, 2024 officially marked the opening of Tesla in the Philippines. It was a long time coming as the brand was established as far back as 2003. Tesla came into the mainstream with the Model S in 2012, and has since become one of the world’s biggest electric car companies in the world.
Locally, there are two Tesla models on offer. These are the Model 3 and the Model Y, the latter once becoming the world’s best-selling vehicle in 2023. And the growing popularity of Tesla in the Philippines isn’t just by observation.
