Months after we drove the much-awaited Subaru BRZ in Singapore in April, Motor Image Pilipinas general manager Mike Luyun told TopGear.com.ph during last weekend's Subaru Impreza Challenge at Bonifacio Global City, that the Toyota 86's twin will finally be introduced to the Philippine market first week of December.
"There are now 40 customers who have made reservations for the BRZ," said Luyun. "At the launch event, 15 units will be released right there to the first batch of owners."
This is certainly good news not only for loyal Subaru fans but also for those who want to buy an 86 but can't get their hands on one due to supply problems. While Toyota Motor Philippines has announced a new shipment of 86 units, we imagine it's still not nearly enough to serve the total demand for the popular compact RWD sports coupe.
Now that you know when exactly the BRZ is arriving, will you wait for it or are you sticking with the 86? Take our poll below.
