Expect to see more EV chargers at Shell stations, as the gasoline company has formalized a comprehensive partnership with ACMobility, the mobility arm of the Ayala Corporation.
The first phase of the partnership will see 50 Shell stations across the Philippines receive new EV chargers, with at least one high-powered DC fast charger at each hub. 20 stations will have their new charging hubs before the end of the year, while the remaining 30 stations will be built sometime in 2026.
Once mounted, these new chargers will be accessible through the Evro app for cashless payment options and availability notifications. Those with ACMobility memberships will also be able to use their credits at these new chargers.

Overall, ACMobility aims to complete its Philippine EV Spine, a nationwide network of 2,500 charging points, to support electrified drivers on long trips and emergencies. This partnership advances that goal by securing at least 100 new charging points, while inviting fully electric and hybrid vehicles to Shell stations nationwide.
As Shell is most probably best known for its fuel offerings, the company is still committed to alternative modes of travel. Head of non-fuel retail and e-mobility at Shell Philippines, Jolo Valdez, affirmed this: “Shell shares ACMobility’s vision of advancing sustainable mobility in the Philippines.
“By opening our stations to host ACMobility’s charging infrastructure, we are helping create a more reliable and accessible network for EV drivers nationwide.”
Before this, Shell Philippines had previously partnered with ACMobility to integrate its proprietary Shell Recharge EV charging stations on the Evro app. At the time of writing, ten Shell Recharge stations can be accessed on Evro.
