A third mall chain has announced it will be adjusting its parking fees to help the public amidst typhoon Ompong's onslaught.
Ayala Malls is waiving its overnight parking fees today, September 14, 2018. It's just a day, but management did say the policy's validity is subject to extension.
What's more, the company says waiting areas and restrooms will be accessible past normal mall operating hours, too. So if you're in dire need of some shelter or a place to take a quick leak, you know where to head.
"In cases of extreme weather and flooding, take shelter at Ayala Malls," the company posted on Facebook earlier today. "We'll keep our doors open for you—our customers—to wait out the storm inside the safety and comfort of our malls."
You can check out the company's whole post below. Ayala Malls is also asking its patrons to stay safe and dry during the storm, and to keep their eyes peeled on social media for any further updates or announcements.
In case you missed it earlier, both Robinsons Malls and SM Supermalls have already announced changes to the parking rates at select locations. Some SM malls are doing away with their overnight parking fee, too, while some Robinsons malls are providing parking free of charge. So, who's next?
