Here’s some good news to brighten up your day: Media personalities Gretchen Ho and Darna herself, Angel Locsin, have just donated 30 bicycles to the displaced stuntmen of the Stunt Association of the Philippines (SAP).
These bicycles will serve not only as tools for the regular commute, but also as possible sources of income for these workers who lost their job due to the COVID-19 crisis. In addition to these two-wheelers, the SAP also received 50 biker kits from delivery company MoveOn PH. With these kits, 50 of the displaced stuntmen can begin working as delivery bikers for the company to earn a little extra as the pandemic continues.
The donations were made through Ho’s ‘Woman in Action PH’ movement and Locsin’s show Iba Yan. You can check out Ho’s official Instagram post below:
The increasing demand for courier services around the metro is somehow turning into a saving grace for some displaced employees, specifically those from the entertainment industry. You may also recall that a few months back, actor Dingdong Dantes began working on his new venture into the courier services industry: the ‘Dingdong PH’ app.
