Was your Toyota vehicle due for any preventive maintenance work during quarantine, or has it developed any issues over the course of the extended lockdown? Toyota Motor Philippines has launched a new tool that will make booking service appointments easier as dealer operations resume in areas considered at low risk from COVID-19.
‘MyToyotaPH,’ which may be accessed online via mytoyota.ph, goes live on May 4. Using this mobile-optimized tool, Toyota owners can create an account and register their vehicles, after which they can set appointments at their preferred dealership.
The tool sends appointment reminders 24 hours and an hour prior to the appointment, and allows users to send a message directly to their dealership of choice. It also shows job items and service cost estimates.
Beginning May 4, MyToyotaPH will enable appointment bookings at facilities that are already allowed to operate under general community quarantine. All other dealerships across the country will be available as quarantine is lifted in their respective areas. Note that all Toyota dealerships—and, we expect, also dealerships of other brands—will only accommodate customers with confirmed appointments for the time being to effectively observe social distancing.
