PH fuel price update: P0.30/L hike for gas, P0.20/L for diesel effective Jan. 13

It doesn’t look like 2026 is off to a good start, as we’re expecting price hikes for both gasoline and diesel this coming week. Better get to refueling before the increases kick in.

For the period of January 13 to 19, 2026, the price of diesel will go up by another P0.20 per liter, while gasoline prices will increase by P0.30 per liter. Finally, kerosene will also have a price increase of P0.30 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P0.20/L and P0.40/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2026. Meanwhile, kerosene will have had an overall increase of P0.40/L for the year.

If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
