Eight new electric buses have been added to the QCity Libreng Sakay Program. In total, the service now has 16 electric buses to bring passengers from QC Hall to Cubao and Gilmore. The eight new fleet additions will start serving the community on May 11, 2026.
In a post by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, the eight new buses will assigned to Route 6 of the program, which services passengers from QC Hall to Gilmore. The buses will have free WiFi, six CCTV cameras, ramps for wheelchair access, comfortable seats, handrails, and fire extinguishers.

The free ride services are available from 6:30am to 9:00pm on weekdays with 15-minute intervals from 6:30am to 9:00am and 4:00pm to 8:00pm, and 30-minute intervals throughout the rest of the day. On weekends, the schedule shortens to 7:00am to 7:00pm on Saturdays and 8:00am to 8:00pm on Sundays, with one-hour intervals between buses for both days.
