Motorists who find the third-generation Prius and the Prius v too mature for their taste may want to wait for an incoming member of Toyota's hybrid family: the Prius c.
Toyota revealed the Prius c Concept vehicle at the 2011 North American International Auto Show to announce to the world that it is further expanding the reach of its hybrid products.
"The Prius c Concept is the inspiration for an additional Prius family member that will come to the market in the first half of 2012 as the most value-oriented hybrid in the US market with the highest mileage of any 'cordless' hybrid," Toyota said in a statement.
The Japanese carmaker said the "C" in the Prius c hints at a "city"-centric vehicle that "will appeal to young singles and couples who want an eco-sensitive, high-mileage, fun-to-drive Prius."
Is it appealing enough to you?
