More than two months ago, we suspected that Universal Motors Corporation, the distributor of Nissan's light commercial vehicles in the Philippines, was going to bring in the Juke compact crossover soon. Well, that time has come as the Juke is now on display--but only as a preview--at the Nissan booth of the 4th Philippine International Motor Show.
"We see the motor show as the perfect opportunity to get the sentiments of the vehicle-buying public before we go to full-scale selling," said Honeymae Limjap, UMC's assistant vice president for marketing and sales. "Rest assured that UMC will do its best to give the Philippine market the vehicles they want."
That could be a lot sooner than we think. According to UMC, it has already received a lot of inquiries from interested buyers of the Juke.
