Earlier this year, Gulf Oil announced its big plans for motorsports. It included, of course, a continued stint in Formula 1 with Williams Racing and, finally, a new partnership with Trackhouse MotoGP Team.
Recently at the 2025 Thailand MotoGP, the two revealed one of the first real showcases of this partnership: the historic Gulf livery on Trackhouse’s Aprilia RS-GP25 race bikes. This marks the first time in history that the full Gulf livery has raced in MotoGP.

The Aprilia race bikes actually look darn good with Gulf’s signature orange and blue colors. It also adds that retro flavor to the modern race bike, with a handful of Gulf badges embedded on the front and side fairings.

The historic Gulf livery will make its appearance until the second race of the season in Argentina. From there on, the Trackhouse MotoGP Team will resume using its own livery scheme including during its home Grand Prix in the United States.
“Further Gulf collaborations” will take place throughout the 2025 MotoGP World Championship, so expect to see more from Gulf and Trackhouse this year.
