You already know that both Honda and Lexus are competing in next year's Japan Super GT series with the NSX Concept-GT and the LF-CC Concept, respectively. Well, Nissan has also reaffirmed its commitment to the racing series, recently announcing that it will do battle in the same GT500 class of the 2014 series with this thing, which is actually the GT-R Nismo GT500.
Unlike the NSX Concept-GT and the LF-CC Concept, however, the GT-R is already a veteran of the series, having raced here every year since 2008, winning the GT500 class in 2008, 2011 and 2012. And as you read this, the current championship leaders in the ongoing 2013 season--Masataka Yanagida and Ronnie Quintarelli--are also driving a GT-R.
As for this new GT-R Nismo GT500, Nissan has given no specific information other than that "Nismo has developed the GT-R to meet the new 2014 rules."
Can this latest GT-R Nismo GT500 continue the car's winning tradition?
