True to its promise of making 2012 an exciting year, Toyota Motor Philippines has injected a some changes in the Yaris hatchback for the local market.
"We have two variants (of the new Yaris) for the market. Everything (about the two variants) is the same except for the transmission," said Miko Hernandez from Toyota's public relations group.
The 'new' Toyota Yaris is based on the RS, and comes with a new mesh grille as well as fresh front and rear bumpers.
It also sports a new headlamp design and new LED taillights.
Adding to the sporty look of the Yaris is the red stitching on the leather steering wheel and the leather shift knob.
Music lovers will feel at home with the Yaris with its fully-integrated audio system with an auxiliary connector.
"All technological advancements of the new Yaris are part of Toyota's vision of moving forward, for the enjoyment and comfort of its customers," Toyota Motor Philippines said.
The new Yaris is priced at P771,000 (1.5-liter, automatic) and P736,000 (1.5-liter, manual).
