The Lexus LFA is a bit of a unicorn, as only 500 of these were ever built in two years of production. That’s why you can be damn sure whenever we find one being sold at an auction, we’ll happily share it on this space.
This gem currently listed on BringATrailer.com, however, is not just any LFA. It’s number 184 of 500, and it’s got only 97km on the odometer. A near-decade-old unit of the Lexus halo car with less than a hundred kilometers on it! If we owned an LFA, we’d probably drive it every good chance we get.

Now, the reason this LFA barely has anything on the clock is that when it was purchased by the owner of the Lexus of Arlington in Illinois, it was put up for display at the dealership. From there on, it spent almost its entire life serving as eye candy to visitors.
As expected from such a sheltered car, this LFA has been kept in mint condition. No word if the Pearl Yellow finish has never had a touch-up, but this unit does look like it just rolled out of the factory yesterday. The forged 20-inch BBS wheels look equally pristine, as do the carbon-ceramic discs and the yellow Brembo calipers hiding behind them.

The interior also looks brand-new. The black and cream leather upholstery is as clean as it gets, and the carbon-fiber accents around the cabin—at least judging by the photos—are spotless. The standard bits such as the heated power-adjustable seats and the Lexus Insider infotainment system with a 12-speaker Mark Levinson audio setup are in working order, too.

While the engine has barely been used, it’s been kept in tip-top shape. Under the hood, of course, is a 4.8-liter V10 mated to a six-speed automated sequential gearbox. Power output for this unit was originally rated at 552hp and 479Nm of torque. The listing says the oil on this engine was last changed in late 2020.
As of this writing, the current bid for this 2012 LFA is at $630,000 (P30.66 million). With 11 days left to go, we won’t be surprised if the winning bid would end up much higher than this. What say you, folks? How much is this pristine Lexus worth to you?
