This listing comes courtesy of CarAndBids.com. At first glance, yes, it’s a Subaru BRZ. Closer inspection, though, will reveal that it’s undergone a significant transformation, albeit one you will not immediately notice with a quick ocular patdown.

Open up the hood and you’re faced with a 2JZ-GTE engine—one that once powered an A80 Supra Turbo. The engine is good for 276hp and up to 450Nm of torque. A handful of other modifications, including a Motec ECU, exhaust alterations, and new camshafts and fuel injectors, brings its total output to a whopping 737hp and 558Nm. Gulp.
That’s not all. The old transmission has been ditched for a six-speed manual 370Z, too, and it runs on aftermarket 17-inch wheels as well. A lot of the interior, including the sports seats, touchscreen infotainment system, remains stock, though.

Interested? The current highest bid for this unit now sits at $29,000 (around P1.38 million). A couple of things to note before you throw money at it: There’s a ding on the passenger side of the exterior, and the seat bolsters are a little worn. While paperwork indicates the car was involved in an impact in 2016, no damage was reported.
A Subaru BRZ with an A80 Supra’s engine and a 370Z’s six-speed transmission? That’s a combination you don’t see too often. How much do you reckon this unit will eventually go for?
