There are a number of ways to dispose of old magazines—not the Top Gear Philippines issues, okay—and newspapers. The simplest way, obviously, is to shred them and throw them in the bin.
But of course, the best thing to do with these pieces of paper is to reuse or recycle them. Well, in the case of artist Roman Potapov, he turns paper trash into a new form of artwork. See that photo above? Look close enough and you’ll see that those are actual clippings from old publications pasted together to create an image of a classic Porsche 911.
The artwork is nothing short of stunning. Creating an image using varying paper clippings alone is already tough work—properly coloring the images and adding shadows and reflections is even more so.

The artist has other works, including the Cabriolet above, as well as a few more Porsches and Ferraris here and there. He also creates images of people, not just cars. He’s shared on social media some quick videos of his works in progress, and suffice to say, the entire process looks tedious as heck.
In any case, we won’t bother trying to describe these art pieces, so we’ll leave you to them. We’ve linked out to the artist’s social media channels below so you can also check out more of his work. It’s awesome stuff, I tell you.
