There can be a lot of hotheads out on the road at any given time. For everyone’s sake, we hope whoever’s behind this thing isn’t one of them.
What is it? Well, on the surface, it’s just an old Russian Lada 1600 with some of its headlights gouged out. Underneath? To be frank, we aren’t quite sure. It does do this, though:
Yikes. Those missing headlights we mentioned? They’ve been removed to allow this boxy little ride to shoot flames from its face. This Lada is literally a flamethrower on wheels.
This monstrosity was shared by Instagram user @vaga_adrenalin and is reportedly the work of Russian mechanic Vahan Mikaelyan. Why build a car capable of scorching whatever’s within 20 feet in front of it? Who knows. But we’ve all seen how crazy Russian dashcam video compilation on YouTube can get, so perhaps that was a factor that came into play.
So, the next time you’re tempted to cut in front of a rickety old rust bucket on the road, think twice—or, you know, at least make sure that it isn’t a Lada missing its headlights.
