Toyota's new sporty MPV

Yesterday, we released a story announcing that Toyota Motor Philippines has introduced a new Innova variant: the Touring Sport. It retains the spaciousness and practicality that have made the MPV popular over the years, but with a few extras to give it a more athletic look.

When we posted the article on our Facebook page, the reception from netizens was mixed. Some cried out that the price was too steep for what are essentially just a few aesthetic changes. Well, the folks at Toyota just sent us more photos of the new variant, so maybe these visuals will help you better decipher if the price increase is worth it.

The Touring Sport comes with either an automatic or manual transmission. Prices are as follows:

*2.8 Touring Sport Dsl AT (P1,355,000)

*2.8 Touring Sport Dsl MT (P1,275,000)

So, with the addition of 16in matte black alloy wheels, a revamped front fascia, and new mouldings, is the new Innova worth buying? Let us know your thoughts.
