TopGear.com.ph Philippine Car News - Guess who bought a Ferrari 458 Spider over the weekend?

Willie Revillame may not have a TV show anymore but that doesn't mean the comedian is done buying expensive luxury cars and supercars.

After buying a Mercedes SLS AMG in May 2013 and the first Rolls-Royce (a Ghost) to be brought in by the British luxury marque’s official dealership in the Philippines a month after, Revillame has supposedly just bought for himself a Ferrari 458 Spider from the Italian carmaker's distributor, Autostrada Motore,  a source shared with TopGear.com.ph. This was corroborated by another source who added that the comedian indeed purchased a red unit of said car.

Now, if you recall, for our 10th anniversary, we gave four of our lucky readers a ride around Bonifacio Global City in a red 458 Spider. Could this be the very same unit that Revillame bought? After all, if he had no qualms buying what was essentially a used and abused German supercar that had seen its share of high-speed runs at the Subic Bay International Airport, we're sure he doesn't have a problem buying an Italian equivalent which a few of our readers rode shotgun in.

Or maybe not.

Either way, he's a lucky bastard.
