Considering her last name, it’s not really surprising that reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach has a preference for German cars. During her first homecoming after she won the crown, she was chauffeured around in an Audi A8, with her entourage riding a Q7.
When she returned to the country recently to pass on the Miss Universe Philippines title to her successor, the half-German beauty was driven around town in a Porsche Cayenne this time. She was accompanied by Miss USA and Miss Universe second runner-up Olivia Jordan.
The latter is best remembered for egging Wurtzbach on to claim the title, after Steve Harvey’s infamous mix-up during the awarding ceremony. In the Miss Universe competition in Las Vegas, Miss USA and Miss Philippines became good friends, and Jordan accepted Wurtzbach’s invitation to attend the latest Binibining Pilipinas pageant where she was a guest judge.
We envy the lucky Cayenne that shuttled the two beauty queens. Its 3.6-liter V6 engine (300hp, 400Nm) made sure that the ride was confidently powerful, with an eight-speed gearbox smoothening out the drive when needed.
When Miss Universe returns, there’s a good chance she’ll ride in one of PGA Cars’ brands again. We would like to offer our services as a driver. We’re sure we can transport her serenely in a Bentley.
