It seems Olympic silver medalist Nesthy Petecio is enjoying her new ride quite a lot. In a new post on Instagram, Petecio proudly flexed her new wheels: a brand-new Chery Tiggo 2.
The subcompact crossover is apparently Petecio’s first car. And just like any proud owner, she already gave her ride a name—McQueen. You can check out the original IG post below:
In case you’re not familiar with the vehicle, the Tiggo 2 is one of the crossovers in Chery Philippines’ revamped lineup. It’s powered by a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline mill that generates 106hp and 135Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic. It wasn’t explicitly stated, but we reckon what Petecio got was the top-spec Tiggo 2 1.5 AT priced at P770,000.
Now, Petecio isn’t the only one enjoying the ride—her entire family seems to be happy with the new Chery, too. She also posted a photo of a toddler behind the wheel. Look:
Other Olympians apart from Petecio also received brand-new vehicles from Chinese carmakers Foton and Chery. You can read more on that here.
