The all-new Ford Territory was launched to much fanfare at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show last April 13. It succeeds a popular crossover that became one of Ford’s best-selling models.
Weeks after the launch you can already see a few 2023 Territory units on the road, snapped up by early adopters. Ford Philippines has said they have ample supply for now, and that supply chain concerns are easing up. Good to know.
One early adopter is video game streamer and Yamaha brand ambassador Sharlene San Pedro. The former Goin’ Bulilit star recently shared in an Instagram post her acquisition of a black Ford Territory. She is shown her posing beside her new ride that even has a blue ribbon, likely placed there by happy sales agents now that they have a new hit product. In another photo, Sharlene is showing the two remote key fobs.

Because of the angle of the photo, we couldn’t tell which variant she got. But we surmise it’s the Titanium version based on our limited view of the wheels. The Ford Territory Titanium retails for P1,335,000. There are only two Territory trims so far: Titanium and the higher Titanium X. Ford Philippines has not confirmed whether they will introduce a lower variant.
On the surface, the only difference between the Territory Titanium and the Territory Titanium X are the wheels and the sunroof. But under the skin, the Titanium X gets advanced radar-based safety features like adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, and autonomous emergency braking.
The Territory is the ideal vehicle for young women like Sharlene. Big enough to be roomy and comfortable, but not too big to maneuver and park. Of course there’s also the generous ground clearance to help traverse Metro Manila’s rough terrain.
