Electric kick scooters come in all shapes and sizes. Need one that’s light and easy to carry around? There are plenty of those around. What about something more durable and fit for longer ranges? The industry has you covered here, too.
The Splach-Transformer, though, is something we haven’t seen yet. As the name implies, it’s a transforming mobility device, but where regular e-scooters simply collapse for easy storage or transport, this one turns into another type of personal mobility device entirely—a small “motorbike-like” monster. Neat.

Sure, it probably isn’t road-legal in motorbike form, but it’s a cool trick nonetheless. The key to its design is its stem, which can be lengthened or shortened to suit the riding position you’re going for. You can also change between road or off-road tires, and it features a quick-swap battery with up to 40km of range.

Propelling this thing is a 350w motor with a top speed of 38kph. Disc brakes come as standard, and Splach says its suspension setup will keep things plush over even rougher terrain. Like other e-scooters, the Splach-Transformer is relatively compact and can easily be stored in the trunk of a car if necessary.

Our favorite part about this thing, though, is its appearance. It absolutely nails the motorbike look it’s going for whether it’s with its stem shortened or not. Components like its front and rear fenders, front cover, and side covers are easy to detach, too, allowing owners to mix and match colors to their liking.

As of now, the Splach-Transformer has already reached a whopping 1,280% of its $10,000 (P500,000) Indigogo goal. It’s still being offered with an early-bird rate, though.
You can find out more about getting your hands on one on its official Indiegogo website. Interested?
