In the interest of safety, you should never take car maintenance for granted. Do you know if your braking system needs checking? How do you change brake pads? Do you know what a caliper piston is? Are you aware that car paint’s biggest enemy is brake fluid? Fear not, we are here to be of assistance.

If it’s your first time to own a vehicle, we’d like to share the knowledge that we’ve accumulated through the years. That’s why The Workshop Online video series was born. We are huge car fans, and a big part of loving cars is keeping them in tip-top shape. We do have a section in our magazine that deals with the maintenance and repairs that car owners can do themselves, but we felt that having a video series can help us get even more in-depth.

Plus, we have a lot of fun wrenching on our cars, and we’d like to share the enjoyment with you guys. Maybe you will be inspired to get your hands dirty, too.

This first episode is all about brakes, and we’ve asked our friends from Autoperformance Ph to share their professional tips. Autoperformance Ph is the official distributor of Brembo in the country, and the company really knows its stuff.

Let this video series be a guide and treasure trove of tips and tricks to get the most out of your braking system, and of course, to keep you safe when you're on the road.

If you have any tips and tricks of your own, don’t hesitate to share them with us in the comment section below.

Stay driven!
