It'll come as no surprise to any of you that the Top Gear PH team loves road trips. Whenever there's a chance to step out of the office and explore new turf on four wheels, we embrace it with open arms. Recently, the kind folks over at Nissan Philippines invited us to join them for a 560km drive to Pagudpud. Our steed, we were told, was going to be the big and bad Nissan Navara. We didn't need to think twice before saying yes.

The long journey took us from Manila to the furthest points of the north. Along the way we camped, ate lots of food, watched tribal presentations, and took lots of photos next to the famous Bangui windmills. Check out our video to see snippets of our epic drive in Nissan's pickup. Through long highway stretches and sandy beaches, we found out that the Navara can conquer almost any kind of terrain.
