There’s no shortage of places to grab a cup of coffee and a bite to eat in Tagaytay. However, parking can be a bit of a problem in the most popular cafes along the ridge with the best views of Taal Lake, especially if you visit during peak seasons like long weekends and Holy Week. If you’re looking for a cafe that’s easily accessible along the highway, yet not so crowded, you might want to consider Siglo Brew.
This charming cafe within the grounds of View Park Hotel offers a great pit stop for road trippers and cyclists looking for a coffee (or beer) fix. Siglo Brew prides itself on serving coffee, craft beer, and dishes made only from locally sourced ingredients. The cafe is just behind Siglo Modern Filipino Restaurant which you can easily spot right across the road from Tagaytay Picnic Grove.

The first time we visited Siglo Brew was during a weekend motorcycle road trip. We were staying in another hotel in Tagaytay and wanted to sample their craft beverage selection after dinner. While visiting, we found out there also was a boutique hotel on the premises and loved the vibe, so we made it our base for our second visit when we did a Taal Lake Bike Loop, and had more time to enjoy coffee and meals during our stay.
Siglo Brew offers a quiet spot to enjoy quality coffee, local pastries, craft beer, and beer chow. You can enjoy your drinks at the cozy indoor dining space or the al fresco seating area under the trees by the hotel’s poolside.

For the coffee selections, they serve serve single-origin coffee sourced from different areas in the country like Liberica from Lipa City, Batangas, and Robusta from Mendez, Cavite. A mural on the wall shows where coffee beans are sourced from all over the country.
Their coffee menu includes Espresso, Americano, Pour Over, Hot Choco Tablea, Pinoy Latte, Flat White, Cappuccino, and Caramel Macchiato all reasonably priced from P95 to P145 each. They also have a few unique pastries on their menu including Garlic Keso Bun, Tableya Bar, Lemon-mansi Bar, Ube Flan and Chocnut Tiramisu, ranging in price from P150 to P270.

If you’re staying overnight in Tagaytay (or you aren’t the designated driver during a road trip), you can also stop by for drinks in the afternoons or evenings. At the time of our visit, they had several craft beer varieties on tap priced from P230 to P290 per glass. If you want some local bar chow to pair with your beverage, options include Sisig Nachos, Pinoy Wings, Pica Pica Platter, and Sari-Sari Skewers.
Based on our visits, there was enough parking space for motorcycles and cars around the vicinity. If you’re bringing bicycles, you can wheel your rides to the poolside area or park near the hotel entrance at the back to keep them secure while you enjoy your drinks.

Overall, Siglo Brew is a good pit spot for riders and cyclists visiting Tagaytay on day trips if you stop from lunchtime onwards. The location across Tagaytay Picnic Grove is pretty convenient for coffee breaks after sightseeing in the area. In case you want a full meal, you can also dine at Siglo Modern Filipino Restaurant, which specializes in Filipino cuisine. Plus, the cafe is a great place for post-ride drinks at night if you’re staying the whole weekend.
Siglo Brew is located at 3500 Calamba Road, Sungay West, Tagaytay. The cafe is open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. For more information, check them out on Facebook or Instagram.
