Honda Philippines has announced that the 2021 X-ADV, which comes with a boatload of new on- and off-road features, is now available on the local market.

Topping the list of additions is the Honda Smartphone Voice Control system. By connecting their smartphone via Bluetooth and using the Honda RoadSync app, riders can control and access navigation and music, get weather updates, and create text messages.

Honda has also made a few tweaks to the X-ADV’s 745cc SOHC parallel-twin engine, which now generates 58hp at 6,750rpm and 68.7Nm of torque at 4,750rpm. Despite having a 4hp boost and a redline that is higher by 600rpm, this adventure scooter retains the previous model’s six-speed dual-clutch transmission, which gives riders the option of shifting manually or fully enjoying the twist-and-go benefits of an automatic. The bike also comes with Honda Selectable Torque Control, and the gear ratios have been reworked to match the additional engine power.

On the outside, the 2021 X-ADV gets a new windshield for better weather protection, a 1.2-liter glove box, and a 22-liter under-seat storage compartment that houses a USB charging port. This revolutionary maxi-scooter retains the previous iteration’s LED headlights with daytime running lights, front and rear disc brakes with ABS, and emergency stop signal.

The 2021 Honda X-ADV is available in three graphic-free color schemes: Graphite Black, Matte Beta Silver Metallic, and Grand Prix Red. It retails for P830,000.
