Liberty Walk’s crack at modifying the all-new Suzuki Jimny was neat, but the tiny off-roader really only looked like a miniature Mercedes-Benz G-Class in this guise. The same goes for Dream Automotive Design and Development’s (DAMD) version, but with similarities to a Land Rover Defender instead.
But this? This, friends, is our first look at a Jimny mod job that’s entirely its own. This is the Wald Sports Line Black Bison Edition Suzuki Jimny.
The name’s a mouthful, we know. But let’s try to focus on the over-the-top bodykit shall we? The first thing you’ll notice are the overextended fenders, the rear wing, and the ridiculous aero on the hood—add-ons that provide the vehicle a sportier albeit purely aesthetic image.
The front bumper has been replaced with a more aggressive-looking one, and it’s been equipped with a pair of four-piece LED auxiliary-lighting units. The front grille now features thin vertical slits instead of the chunkier design featured on stock units, too. Finally, the look is topped off by Beyblade-like wheel designs with red accents, LED light bars on the roof, and a stealthy matte-gray paint finish.
Many will certainly argue that it’s all a bit too much, but it should still make for a nice peg for future owners who are into this sort of appearance.
Long story short: Just launch the all-new Jimny in the Philippines already. The wait is killing us.
