It’s shaping up to be quite the busy quarter for Ford Philipines. The carmaker just launched the Ford F-150 here in our market, and now it has announced that it will be launching a new model yet again.
This new model is no less than the Territory, a compact crossover built by Ford in China. We’ve yet to receive details on the variants slated to arrive here, nor do we have word on possible pricing, but we’ll know in a few weeks.
It will likely come with a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine, a common powertrain for this category, it seems.
“The all-new Ford Territory is designed to empower the modern Filipino driver who don’t want to compromise features, space, technology and versatility in their vehicle,” said Ford Philippines managing director PK Umashankar. “With Ford’s heritage and global expertise in designing class-leading SUVs, we are confident that the all-new Ford Territory will resonate with Filipino customers looking for an all-in-one package in their SUV.”
