No physical launch, no problem. To keep its fans and customers safe, as well as to comply with social-distancing guidelines, Isuzu Philippines will be launching the D-Max Boondock 4x4 through Facebook on June 17, 2020.

If you’ll remember, details and pricing for the D-Max Boondock 4x4 were already released not long before authorities locked down the Philippines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The D-Max Boondock comes equipped with a 3.0-liter 4JT1 turbodiesel capable of 177hp at 3,600rpm and 380Nm of torque between 1,800-2,800rpm, and runs on 265/70 Yokohama Geolandar all-terrain tires, 18-inch black alloy wheels, performance shocks, with 247mm of ground clearance. It’s now also available as a 4x4.

You can get the pickup truck in four colors: Cosmic Black, Red Spinel, Titanium Silver,  and Silky Pearl White. In case you missed it in March, here are the D-Max Boondock 4x4’s prices:

  2. Isuzu D-Max Boondock 3.0 4x4 AT – P1,795,000

Yes, this is going to take some getting used to. But while there’s no replacing seeing a new offering in the metal, a digital launch is currently the only truly safe option. So, what do you think of the pickup?
