Last week, Hyundai treated us to a teaser of the facelifted Creta that’s on the horizon. We didn’t get to see the entirety of the crossover, though, as it was either partially blocked by models or, well, splashing water.

But now, we’ve finally gotten our first full look at the new Creta, albeit in sketches. Hyundai India has just released full sketch images of this refreshed model, and it looks very aggressive.

The front clip is adorned by this large, Santa Fe-like grille. Hyundai really is going all boxy, huh? This smaller crossover even has what appear to be large fog lamps housed by some additional black trim. Overall, this front fascia looks very rugged.

That ruggedness is matched by the seemingly wider stance that this Creta boasts. We’re not sure if that’s just in the sketch, though, but we wouldn’t be mad if the actual production model looked this beefy.

The rear, meanwhile, gets a futuristic lightbar on what looks like a gloss black panel that stretches the width of the vehicle. You get more black plastic underbody cladding on this end, and the rear bumper also gets accentuating gray trim to match the one up front.

Frankly, this is looking pretty good. A far cry from the Creta we currently have here in our market. We reckon we’ll be getting the specs for this one real soon—not that we’re expecting drastic changes for this mid-cycle refresh—so watch this space.
