The updated Lexus IS300h has made its regional debut at the 2026 Bangkok International Motor Show, and we’re happy to report it still looks gorgeous as ever in person.
The front carries some Camry DNA if you squint a certain way, but there’s no mistaking the overall package for a mere Toyota. The Lexus trademark hourglass-shaped grille is still there, though altered in shape to emphasize the lower half. The result is a “powerful, soul-stirring sports sedan”—Lexus’ words, not ours.

Interior revisions include the unfortunate departure of the analog clock on the dashboard, which makes way for the new 12.3-inch touchscreen display. The instrument cluster has also been updated to a matching 12.3-inch screen.

The new IS also gets updated power steering systems as well as a new variable gear ratio. The result is a smoother and more responsive experience at the wheel. Comfort also gets an upgrade with new linear-solenoid-type adaptive variable suspension.

We already knew that the facelifted IS is coming to our shores later this year thanks to the Toyota/Lexus reveal event back in January, but seeing the premium compact in the metal was a nice reminder of things still to come. For now, we’ll be staying tuned for official word when Lexus brings the latest IS to our market.
