Ford Philippines may not be attending the 2026 Manila International Motor Show, but the Blue Oval made sure to remain active this week. The new Ford Mustang Mach-E RWD has just been launched as a more affordable stablemate to the Mustang Mach-E AWD.

This particular Grabber Yellow Mustang Mach-E RWD stickers for a relatively more affordable P2.599 million. A far cry from the Mustang Mach-E’s P3.499 million price tag, that introductory price is available until further notice, and other colors will cost P100,000 more. Once regular pricing sets in, the new Mustang Mach-E will be sold for P3.199 million—yes that’s a P500,000 discount. With that, it will still remain the most affordable electric vehicle in Ford’s local lineup.

The Mustang Mach-E currently undercuts the Toyota bZ4X and is notably more competitive against the Tesla Model Y—specifically, the long-range RWD variant. Let us know if you’d like to see these electric SUVs on The Big Test soon.

With a single-motor setup, the RWD Mach-E makes 272hp and 525Nm of torque. On a full charge, it should be able to drive for 615km, with the option of a one-pedal driving setting. This feature is advertised to help maximize battery regeneration while reducing the wear on the car’s brakes. There are also three driving modes to choose from—namely, Whisper, Engage, and Unbridle.

The dimensions of the new Mach-E remain unchanged. Its compact SUV frame can still hold up to 1,420 liters of cargo with the second-row folded, or 402 liters with all seats up. There is also a frunk underneath the hood, which has a capacity of about 80 liters.
