Volkswagen is supposedly eyeing a new range of sport-utility vehicles, one of which is the T-Roc concept, which is currently on display at the ongoing 2014 Geneva International Motor Show.
Following the success of the Tiguan and the Touareg, Volkswagen is looking at the T-Roc as a possible sporty compact SUV that will be slotted below the Tiguan.
The T-Roc has a progressively designed front end, and sports a split-roof section in the middle that can be taken down and stowed in the trunk, giving it the capability of an all-wheel-drive SUV and "the summery airiness of a convertible."
Powering the T-Roc is a 2.0-liter direct-injection turbodiesel engine that puts out 182hp and 380Nm, and is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It also has three driving modes depending on the terrain: Street, Snow and Off-Road.
What do you think of the T-Roc as another one of Volkwagen's off-road offerings?
