The annual Goodwood Festival of Speed brings together a unique blend of automotive culture, from historic vehicles and concept cars to quiet EVs and loud racing machines. This year, Honda is showing up with a stacked lineup not only for fans to appreciate in the metal but also to put to the test on the event’s iconic hillclimb.
Let’s start with the much-awaited Prelude from Honda Racing Corporation. The Prelude HRC Concept is expected to make its dynamic debut at the Goodwood Hillclimb. It will be driven by Aston Martin’s head of F1 Academy, Jessica Hawkins, and former F1 driver Tiago Monteiro.

While the concept coupe hasn’t been revealed to have major powertrain changes, HRC has fitted it with extensive carbon fiber parts to make the entire car lighter. Factor in the aero modifications, HRC lightweight alloy wheels, and wider tires, and this coupe should perform exceptionally well, especially on an uphill course.

Next up is the Honda Super-One. Also known as the Super N in the United Kingdom, this is essentially a performance-inspired version of the N-One. Is it also a kei car? Sorta, but legally, no. The Super-One measures 3,589mm long, 1,573mm wide, and 1,616mm tall—extending past the strict dimensions required of kei cars. But it’s still lightweight and has decent power for its category.

The Super-One will be unleashing all of its 94hp on the roads of Goodwood. With its ‘Boost Mode’ also simulating a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the little not-a-kei-car will surely be a blast for whoever is behind the wheel.
Four-wheelers aren’t the only thing Honda will be bringing to the event, though; the fully electric WN7 motorcycle is expected to be there, too. The full-size electric bike was previewed at the 2026 Makina Moto Show and the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show. It’s powered by a permanent-magnet motor delivering 67.5hp and 100Nm of torque.

Alongside the WN7 will be the new CB1000F. The retro-inspired bike uses a retuned version of the 999cc inline-four engine found in the CBR1000RR Fireblade while sharing a chassis with the CB1000 Hornet. Riding the sports naked will be three-time world champion Freddie Spencer, who gave Honda its first superbike win in 1980.
Of course, Goodwood wouldn’t be complete without F1 cars. Last and definitely not least in Honda’s lineup will be the Williams FW11. The FW11 was the car that brought Honda its first F1 constructors’ championship in 1986, driven by Nigel Mansell and Nelson Piquet. In celebration of that victory’s 40th anniversary, the FW11 will be taking to the track once again, this time piloted by F1 world champion Damon Hill and Ryo Michigami.

The 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed will be held from July 9 to 12 at the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex, England. If you want to watch the event from home, Goodwood Road & Racing said it will be hosting a livestream on its official YouTube channel and Facebook page.
