While we can’t always see John Cena, we can definitely see on social media that he’s a big car guy. Heck, he has even confirmed that the FL5 is his daily driver—proclaiming it has the right amount of manual fun, and everyday practicality.
And just recently, the 17-time wrestling world champion has added another exciting Honda to his vast collection: A brand-new Prelude, finished in cool Boost Blue.

“Took the Civic TypeR in for service and was fortunate enough to pick up the brand new Honda Prelude!!” Said Cena in a Facebook post. “Thank U Wesley Chapel Honda for helping add this Boost Blue Beauty to the Honda Lineup! Time to see what this thing can do!!!”

The Prelude is definitely not a bad car to have while the Civic Type R is out being serviced. Cena might even feel some Type R spirit as the Prelude packs the same braking and suspension systems of the FL5. And we’re definitely eager to hear his thoughts on the S+ Shift technology.

Top Gear Philippines executive editor, Sheng Banzon, got to experience the Prelude and all its goodies firsthand, and if you’d like to learn more, you can click on these blue words.
It also looks like the retired-wrestler turned actor is putting on other people to Honda. Just before Christmas last year, he helped his 80-year-old aunt purchase a brand-new CR-V. He’s even lent his voice to a couple of Prelude advertisements. If acting doesn’t work out, we’re sure Cena would make a fine Honda salesman.
