The idea of a supercar in SUV form just doesn’t sit well with a lot of people, and that’s why Lamborghini raised a lot of eyebrows when it first revealed the Urus a few years ago. Since then, however, the Urus has been a success for the Italian marque, ending 2019 as Lamborghini’s top-selling model.
And if those sales figures aren’t enough, then get this: the 10,000th Urus has just rolled out of the Sant’Agata Bolognese plant, marking yet another milestone for Lamborghini’s super SUV.
This landmark 10,000th unit will be shipped out to Russia. It comes in a new Nero Noctis Matt finish with a carbon-fiber package. The interior features a two-tone Ad Personam design with black and orange highlights complemented with more carbon fiber trims.
Lamborghini made no mention of any changes under the hood of this Urus, so it’ll still pack a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that generates a whopping 641hp and 850Nm of torque. And in case you needed a reminder, this SUV can do 0-100kph in just 3.6sec.
That’s a pretty big achievement for the arguably the most divisive car in the Italian brand’s portfolio. What do you think? Do you reckon the Urus will continue to sell as well as it did last year?
