If you’ve been debating between spending around seven to eight figures on a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7-Series, or a Lexus LS, lucky you—but you also might want to wait for the 2026 LS to reach the Philippines, as it just received a few nifty upgrades over in Japan.
For starters, all seats in the executive, full-size sedan now have a heating feature. Surprisingly, this wasn’t a standard offering before, but better late than never.

Buyers also have two near colors to choose from, namely White Nova Glass Flake and Deep Blue Mica. The overall look of the LS remains unchanged for 2026, so these new colors should add a bit of pop to the lineup.

Powertrain options have also been kept the same, with a 3.5-liter V6 on the hybrid version, and a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 on the combustion-only LS. The hybrid Lexus LS is rated for 295hp and 350Nm of torque, while the non-hybrid outputs 414hp and 600Nm.

However, those who opt for the F Sport trims will get new brake calipers, redesigned in a red finish with a sleek silver Lexus logo in the middle.
Earlier this year, it was rumored that the LS nameplate would cease production, which turned out to be true for the American market. Lexus will be giving the LS a final production run of 250 units in the United States, but it looks like the sedan is alive and kicking here in Asia—at least for now.
