Here it is, ladies and gents. As promised, MG Philippines has now launched the all-new MG One.
We’ve seen this thing before already, but let’s still do a quick rundown of its design, because I have to say, this thing does look quite good. There’s a large gaping grille up front, and it takes up most of the real estate on the front fascia. There are a pair of sleek, swept-back headlamps right above it.
It looks rather sleek, with underbody cladding limited to just the sides and the back of the vehicle. At the rear, it has this angry look to it, and the way I see it, it matches the front clip quite nicely. For added pizzazz, the crossover also sits on swanky-looking wheels.

On the inside, you get a mix of hard plastic and soft-touch materials. There’s also a combination of black, silver, and gray trim all around, so the cabin does look a bit busy. There’s a flat-bottom steering wheel and a hefty gearshift lever here, too.
Under the hood, the MG One packs a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. The vehicle also gets a keyless entry system with a push-to-start ignition and a remote-start function. There’s cruise control, a 360-degree-view camera, and other added options such as the sunroof and a wireless phone charger.
As for the price, there are two variants available and the range starts at P1,298,888 for the base trim and tops out at P1,458,888 for the top-spec version. SAIC Motor Philippines, however, has a special introductory offer—you can check out the introductory price list below.
