We already told you that the Aceman has made its local debut, but that’s not the only new model launched by Mini Philippines—it has also brought in the 2025 Mini Cooper 5-Door. Unlike its three-door counterpart that arrived last year, this is fully gasoline-powered and doesn’t have an electric option.
Available in Cooper S form, it’s priced at P3,799,000. The engine is a 2.0-liter turbopetrol straight-four that puts out 204hp and 300Nm of torque.
The five-door hatch body is just around 40mm shorter from end to end than the Aceman, measuring 4,036mm long, 1,744mm wide, and 1,464mm tall. It features the same styling as Mini’s latest models, although technically, combustion-engined Coopers use the previous model’s platform, and have different hood panels and door handles versus the ‘J01’ electric Cooper. Otherwise, all the familiar Mini elements are here: round headlights, octagonal grille, taillights that may be illuminated with a Union Jack pattern, and of course, the easily recognizable silhouette.

As in other current-gen models of the British brand, the cabin reflects the ‘Charismatic Simplicity’ theme, featuring sustainably sourced 2D-knit textiles and that 240mm circular OLED display taking center stage in the middle of the dashboard. Running on Mini OS 9, it controls navigation, multimedia, climate, and other vehicle settings, but the most accessed controls—engine start, gear selector, parking brake, and volume knob—are housed in the toggle bar below. There you will also find the toggle for the Experience Modes. You’ll want Go-Kart mode for the driving experience that Minis are known for.
Advanced driving-assist systems provide an added layer of safety, while Parking Assistant makes short work of parking in tight spaces. For convenience, voice commands may be given by saying ‘hey Mini’ to activate the Intelligent Personal Assistant, and recharging gadgets may be done via the wireless charger or multiple USB-C ports.
