Singer has revealed the very first bit of fruit it has cultivated from its customer DLS Turbo tree, and—perhaps veering wildly away from this analogy—it is that car above you’re considering selling a kidney or two for. Ooft.
It is called the ‘Sorcerer,’ because according to the famous Californian restoration outfit, “Singer’s clients often name their car at the start of the restoration, and in this case, the owner chose ‘Sorcerer.’”

So, for the 99.9% of us without the required Porsche 964 to begin with and the requisite currency it costs to transform said 964: you shall not pass, but you shall be able to ogle the big winged beauty.

As ever, the transformation from regular 964 to Sorcerer doesn’t involve falling off a mountain top while fighting a Balrog with swords and magic, though there is, of course, a fair bit of witchcraft deployed.

Everything’s stripped, assessed, cleaned, repaired, strengthened, and filled with a 3.8-liter flat-six. And not just any flat-six, but one treated to two big turbos, water-cooled heads, air-cooled cylinders, and a redline of 9,000rpm. Headline figures stand at 710hp and 721Nm of torque.
That’s matched to a six-speed manual gearbox—woohoo!—and rear-wheel drive, and fed out of an Inconel and titanium exhaust system with—double woohoo!—side exit pipes. Singer said this “contributes to the unique soundtrack of the famous flat-six.” We say: Don’t burn thine ankles.
Burn thine rubber instead. This particular DLS Turbo has been festooned with carbon fiber shaped for aero and built—as per the owner’s request—for track duty. Hence, it’s wearing a deep front spoiler and a fatter, bigger raised rear wing.

It’s blue, obviously—‘Fantasia,’ apparently—with gray leather inside and a raft of details we’d need another Internet to detail. Safe to say, each one is highly bespoke, and this is really bespoke. It runs on 19-inch rims up front and 20-inch rollers on the back.
“Each car is a collaboration with our clients around the world, and DLS Turbo services are our most ambitious yet, so seeing Sorcerer ready for its owner to drive is a very exciting moment for us and a fantastic way to start the year,” said Singer founder Rob Dickinson.
