So Mitsubishi came out with matching concept versions of the ASX and the Strada

Special editions are dubbed 'Geoseek'

Mitsubishi ASX and Strada Geoseek concepts

On their own, both the ASX crossover SUV and the Strada pickup look decent straight off the factory floor. But Mitsubishi felt the pair could still use some cosmetic makeover to make them more appealing to "outdoor enthusiasts." Hence, the Geoseek concept versions you see here.

We understand the transformation is merely skin-deep, as the power train and other mechanicals were left untouched. What underwent metamorphosis were the exterior and interior appearances. Both concept vehicles are painted pearl gray, with key parts colored vibrant orange to provide contrast. Other characteristic features shared by the two models are the mesh inner grille, the skid plate under the front bumper, and the roof rack for carrying extra stuff.

There's no word yet on whether Mitsubishi might officially release special editions of the ASX and the Strada in this colorway, but we imagine a few existing owners will take note and ask their friendly neighborhood paint shop to work on their vehicles.

Perhaps Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has already given instructions to its product planners. Who knows? Would you buy the ASX or the Strada in this paint job?
