So you’ve probably heard the news: Toyota Motor Philippines is now accepting reservations for the new Toyota Ativ HEV. This all but confirms that the hybrid Vios is on its way to the Philippines, and it’ll most likely be called the Ativ.
The bigger news, however, comes after we just published that story. We received word from a source regarding prices: The Ativ could start at P916,000 and top out at P1.198 million. Four variants could be available at launch. We’ll show you the price list below first:
2026 Toyota Ativ variants and prices

- Toyota Ativ 1.5 HEV CVT – P1,198,000
- Toyota Ativ 1.5 G CVT – P1,069,000
- Toyota Ativ 1.3 E CVT – P980,000
- Toyota Ativ 1.3 E MT – P916,000

Apparently, there could be three engine options available. First is the 1.3-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine, second is the 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol powertrain, and third is the 1.5-liter gasoline hybrid setup. All three engines will come with a CVT, but the base 1.3 E trim can still be had with a manual transmission.
What’s interesting is that our source has stated that the Vios will still be sold alongside the new Ativ. It looks like Toyota will be taking a page out of the Zenix playbook here. Take note, though, that while the photos here show a GR-S variant, our source didn’t mention anything about that configuration for the Ativ.
In any case, we’ll have to wait a bit more for confirmation on this. Until Toyota makes it official, don’t quote us on these prices just yet. But stay tuned for more info, because we’re also told that the launch is coming sooner rather than later—it could happen sometime in October. Keep your eyes peeled, folks.
