Last month, Toyota Motor Philippines officially opened reservations for its all-new electric vehicle, the bZ4X. We already know the prices, and we’ve actually driven it as well. But now, the Japanese giant’s first-ever electric vehicle has officially been launched in the market.

In case you missed it, the lone variant starts at P2.699 million. You’ll have to pay an extra P15,000 for the Platinum White Pearl Mica/Attitude Black Mica colorway or P20,000 for the Precious Metal/Attitude Black Mica and Emotional Red/Attitude Black Mica options.

The Philippine-spec bZ4X has a total output of 338hp and 338Nm of torque and is equipped with a 73.11kWh battery. On a full charge, it can do about 570km.

“It takes time and strategic planning to roll out what we call our multi-pathway approach to carbon-neutral mobility, which involves customer education and preparedness, and providing technologies and solutions that are most appropriate for the market’s needs,” shared TMP First Vice President for vehicle sales operations Elijah Marcial. “From building up our widest lineup of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and introducing battery electric vehicles (BEVs) through our luxury brand Lexus, we believe we’re ready to make BEVs more mainstream with the Toyota bZ4X, especially with Filipino users’ better understanding of EV technologies and power mix along with improving charging infrastructure.”

The bZ4X will only be sold at specific dealerships. You can check out the list below.
