The Toyota C-HR lineup has been beefed up with the introduction of this C-HR+ version, which is set to land in some markets toward the end of 2025 as the all-electric alternative to the standard hybrid.
Two battery choices will be offered—57.7kWh or 77kWh—and paired with either front- or all-wheel drive. Power ranges from 175hp in the FWD configuration with the smaller battery to as much as 338hp in the AWD range-topper, making it Toyota’s most powerful non-GR product. It’ll also sprint its way to 100kph in around 5.2sec, so it’s no slouch.

You’ll get a maximum of 600km of range and DC fast charge speeds of 150kW. A heat pump and an 11kW onboard charger are provided as standard, with a 22kW plug available as an option on the higher trim grades.

The design team’s been busy, too. The ‘+’ is not only longer and wider than the regular C-HR, you also don’t need to squint to notice the restyled headlights, thinner grille, and additional air vents. The LED taillight is one continuous strip now, and there are extra elements bolted around the rear bumper to sign off the more squarish shape. Also, a neat ducktail spoiler above the trunk lid.

The cabin is fronted by a 14-inch multimedia display, packed with all manner of safety systems that come with the usual array of alerts and corrections for awkward driving. You'll also find ambient lighting, a panoramic roof, and around 416 liters of load space.
No word on pricing, but expect the + to start slightly north of the C-HR’s entry point of £31,300 (P2.322 million before taxes).
