The cat’s out of the bag: Toyota Motor Philippines is launching the GR Corolla in our market. We estimate there’s about a month to go before we get any details, so the plan was to sit on our hands and wait for more info.

But as luck would have it, a source has tipped us about the possible prices of the upcoming GR Corolla. We’re told there could be two variants available at launch, with the base manual starting at P3.811 million and the higher automatic trim priced at P3.955 million.

Toyota GR Corolla 2026 rumored Philippine prices

  1. Toyota GR Corolla 1.6 MT – P3,811,000
  2. Toyota GR Corolla 1.6 AT – P3,955,000

Our source has also told us that standard colors across the range only include black, white, and Precious Metal. Emotional Red is available for either, but it comes at an additional P20,000.

Now, it’s not just the prices we’ve learned of—we’ve gotten hold of what could be the spec-sheet as well. As mentioned, both the eight-speed automatic and six-speed manual gearboxes will be available, and these will be mated to the P1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline engine pushing out 296hp (or 300PS) at 6,500rpm and 400Nm of torque between 3,250-4,600rpm. A limited-slip differential comes standard along with 18-inch aluminum wheels.

The GR Corolla, of course, will get the GR-Four all-wheel-drive system. It will also have five different drive modes available: Sport, Normal, Eco, Gravel, and Track. Local units could also be spec’d with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes forward-collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, lane-tracing assist, lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. Higher automatic variants are said to get dynamic radar cruise control as a bonus.

Note that none of these are official as of this writing, so don’t quote us on anything just yet. Rest assured, as always, once we receive official word from Toyota, we’ll share more details with you guys. Watch this space.
