Mark your calendars and book your tickets: The Toyota GR GT and GT3 will make their first public appearance at the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon in Chiba City, Japan, on January 9.
After being revealed earlier this month, Toyota’s new, track-focused supercars will finally be on display for all to see—and hear. Toyota Gazoo Racing will also be holding demonstration runs with the GR GT and GT3 to give visitors a chance to hear what the cars’ 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine sounds like.

It’ll definitely be interesting to see what the GR GT and GT3 look like in metal, considering this is Toyota’s first all-aluminum frame.

The pair will then be joined by the special GR Yaris Morizo RR and the GR Yaris Sébastien Ogier 9x World Champion Edition; both of which are still currently in development, along with other concept models set to be on display.

The GR Heritage Parts Project will also be present at the Tokyo Auto Salon, presenting newly manufactured components for the AE86 chassis, or the 4A-GE-type Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno. Orders for these new parts went live in September and are set to be released to customers in May 2026.
The project will also display upcoming parts for the A80 Supra. That particular model has already been enlisted in the GR Heritage Parts Project, along with the A70 Supra and the Land Cruiser.
