The Geneva International Motor Show is turning out be a very important event for Porsche as the German carmaker has revealed the 918 Spyder hybrid concept.

The Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid concept is a mid-engined sports car with a V8 powerplant that delivers more than 500hp. The 918 Spyder's look combines both classic styling elements of Porsche with design solutions for the future as it evokes both the 917 Le Mans-winning race car and the currently-available RS Spyder.

Other Porsche vehicles which are stealing the show in Geneva include the 911 Turbo S and the next-generation Cayenne, which also has a hybrid variant.
