Let's cut to the chase. If you love cars, drive yourself right now to the 25th Trans Sport Show happening this weekend at the SMX Convention Center (beside SM Mall of Asia). We were present for the event's opening ceremonies yesterday, and got an intimate look at all of the beautiful rides vying for this year's "Best of Show" award.
The show has something for everybody--aftermarket setups, old-school cars and everything in between. We have to say, however, that the classic rides really stand out. There's a beautifully restored Dearborn-built 1967 Mustang fastback. There's an absolutely lovely Nissan Fairlady Z. And there's a must-see Mitsubishi Lancer Box-Type.
While the cars are the stars of the show, hearing the stories behind them from the owners themselves is already worth the P100 price of admission. Listening to them talk about being reunited with long-lost automobiles--or finally finding the car of their dreams after so many years--is really something.
