It’s that time of the year again when all eyes in the region are in Thailand for the Bangkok International Motor Show. For 2024, Grand Prix International (GPI) has reportedly invested 300 million Thai baht (more than P460 million) to host the motor show.

The 45th installation of BIMS will feature a total exhibition space of about 76,000sqm, and as of this writing, the show has already been fully booked by 47 car and motorcycle brands. The festivities will be held from March 27 to April 7, still at Impact Muang Thong Thani but now across Challenger Halls 1 to 3 and Impact Forum Hall 4.

For those who find themselves in Thailand during these dates, the show is open from 12nn to 10pm on weekdays and 11am to 10pm on weekends. Each ticket costs 100 Thai baht (about P150), and is equivalent to one raffle entry. There’ll be a Lumin EV as well as motorcycles from Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki that will be given away. As for those who buy a car or a motorcycle, they also have the chance to win an MG4 DSK and a Zeeho AE6+.

BIMS is arguably one of the most important motor shows in the region year in and year out. We expect several important launches and announcements come the end of this month. Stay tuned to our website and our social media platforms to catch our coverage of BIMS 2024.
